What is Anthropology?

Anthropology is the holistic approach to the study of humans. We combine methods, theories, and data from natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities to examine human experience in the broadest framework possible. Our courses explore human biology, origins, prehistory, cultural diversity, and religious experience. Students in anthropology courses acquire basic skills in critical thinking, oral and written communication, quantitative reasoning, group interaction, cultural diversity, and technology.
